About the collection

I started developing the The Pastel Drop whilst vacationing on the french riviera. Browsing the narrow streets, eating delicious ice cream and tanning on the beach I longed for light summer clothing.

One of the challenges of wearing only one or two garments is that we usually feel we're not able to tell the whole story. Maybe it's something about being scandinavian and wishing to add accessories, a coat and layers to tell who we are. Therefore the summer collection is also about making a statement.

The garments

The NATALIE dress and coat was named after one of my actress heroines, Natalie Wood. It's a subtle but yet stand out ensemble cut from 100% italian cotton poplin. The crisp lightness of the fabrics breathes and is perfect for hot summer days. Bodice, skirt and coat is lined with viscose from Germany, and the dress also has some tulle below the waist for enhancement. Inspiration from 70's tenniswear is aparent here, with organic curves and buttons covered in rice mesh.

Which colors to combine with?

Mint green looks amazing with other pastels - and also with corals, since red is it's complimentary color.

AVA Top and skort is a playful set with sweet bow details and piping. Ava Gardner is another favorite actress who inspired the name. The set is cut from 100% cotton pique originated from Estonia, dyed in Color Visions custom lime green.

Which colors to combine with?
Lilac is a very good choice for lime green, also pale orange.

BRIGITTE Mikado top and culottes is the third set in the collection - because we have a soft sport for two pieces. The shiny mikado from our MIA dress we loved so much that we created a top with collar and culottes in the same material. Perfect for a dressed up dinner, or dress down with muted colors or different textures. Complete with founder Iben's favourite space age details. Fabric is manufactured in spain.

Which colors to combine with?
Purple goes very well with different yellow tones (especially marigold/saffron) to pale orange. Red is a winner if you want to clash colors.

Last but not least we have the TIPPI blouse in a beautiful rose pink with lilac pressure buttons. Fabric is 100% silk made in italy. TIPPI has the most beautiful curved closure, and a kimono cut for flattering your shoulders. Complete with a little mandarin collar for a sophisticated edge.

Which colors to combine with?
This shade of pink goes very well with mint green and lilac. Also try more seagreen shades!
