most collections are produced in bulk, months ahead of a customer ever seeing them. what does not sell is discounted, stored, or sent to landfill. color vision works differently. each piece is made only once it belongs to someone, in ateliers in italy and at manufacture oslo, by hands that measure, cut and finish by hand.

that choice takes time. most pieces take approximately 8 weeks from order to delivery. the wait is not a delay. it is the time a garment actually takes to be made properly, by people, not by machines running ahead of demand.

fabric is often sourced in limited or deadstock quantities, chosen for what it is rather than how much of it exists. a piece made this way cannot be reordered indefinitely. once the fabric is gone, the piece is gone with it.
